First Two Weeks...

The first two weeks of being in school have been really great. So far, I love being at Romulus. The students are fun, but also challenging. One of our classes just asks random questions and can completely throw us for a loop.

This past week, I've started to take over the beginning of 5th hour. I start with the planning grid and the Question of the Day. It was intimidating at first, but my mentor teacher did a great job easing me into it.

Being in the classroom makes everything worthwhile. I'm starting to see some connections between what we've learned in summer classes and teaching. It also keeps me motivated. I've learned so much being in the classroom, and I've only been there four days! I'm really looking forward to the rest of the year...
